CanGEO Education — Application planning checklist

BEFORE APPLYING
[ ] Select the university and exact program; confirm language, duration and published fees.
[ ] Verify institutional authorization and the exact program's accreditation with EQE.
[ ] Check qualification recognition, further study and professional licensing in your intended destination country.
[ ] Ask the university for the current intake, deadline, academic and English-language requirements in writing.

DOCUMENTS — CONFIRM WHAT APPLIES TO YOU
[ ] Passport and matching personal details.
[ ] Academic certificate/diploma and complete transcripts.
[ ] Language evidence or university interview, if required.
[ ] Postgraduate documents or transfer syllabus/credit records, if applicable.
[ ] Confirm Georgian translation, notarization and any authentication requirements before paying for them.
[ ] Confirm who handles foreign-education recognition and right-to-study procedures.
[ ] Keep copies, receipts and official correspondence.

ADMISSION AND ARRIVAL
[ ] Verify the formal admission outcome and written tuition/refund terms.
[ ] Check nationality-specific entry, visa and lawful-stay requirements on official Georgian government sources.
[ ] Check whether a D3 study visa and/or study residence permit is needed; do not assume admission grants immigration permission.
[ ] Arrange insurance, accommodation and initial expenses.
[ ] Confirm enrollment, originals to bring, payment schedule and orientation with the university.
